Sofia Hagman Buhlin works primarily in corporate communication with special focus on crisis and issue management, media relations and public affairs. She is continuously working with high profile clients in providing risk analyses and media training both in current crises and for crises proofing organisations for potential upcoming issues. Sofia also works continuously with developing strategic communications in different processes such as rebranding, IPO’s and during phases of change.
Sofia has vast experience from politics at a national level and continues to be highly involved and committed in political issues and on the political scene. Sofia has worked as a strategic adviser on both domestic and international politics, mainly in the fields of migration and international development cooperation. She has previously served as a political adviser at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
She also has experience with everyday communications for a listed company as well as from handling an M&A situation from the inside. Sofia was previously the PR and Media relations director at Intrum, the world’s largest credit management company, which in 2018 concluded one of the largest structural deals on Nasdaq Stockholm when merging with main competitor Lindorff.
Sofia holds a MSc in Political Science from the Linneaus University.
